Independent News Service (INS), the parent business that owns India TV, was founded by Rajat Sharma and Ritu Dhawan in 1997. In April of 2004, he and his wife co-founded India TV from a facility in Noida's Film City. Its Broadcast Center is located in Sector 85 of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
